Great Trango Holdings, Inc., doing business as Trango – Extraordinary Climbing Gear, was established in 1992 , primarily to distribute unique, cutting edge climbing equipment from Europe and Asia to the U.S. Trango soon was manufacturing some equipment from designers that had approached them with an idea or prototype. Over the years, Trango and it’s crew of dedicated climbers became known as a small, committed company known for innovative, value oriented products such as the Pyramid, the Cinch, the Ball-Nut, the Squid, and the Big Bro, among others. Trango continues to thrive and build a line of Extraordinary Climbing Gear for the future.
